Association of Consumer Credit Information Suppliers

Biuro Informacji Kredytowej S.A. has been an active member of ACCIS since 2000. It is an association established in 1990 in Dublin bringing together the European credit agencies (such as German Schufa, Italian Crif, or Dutch BKR). The aim of the Association is to represent, promote and protect the common interests of its members. It represents and supports its members in contacts with the government agencies, public organisations and other institutions. The most important relations include the cooperation with the EU Commissions in Brussels. ACCIS, among other things, is a forum for the exchange of experience between the credit information bureaux. A project is carried out within the framework of ACCIS related to the development of an IT system whose task would to enable the borrower information sharing between the credit bureaux of the member states of the European Union.
