Credit score is a method which on the basis of statistical tools allows predicting the probability of occurrence of a predicted event.
BIKSco CreditRisk
The BIKSco CreditRisk (II generation BIKSco) Model is a tool used to assess the credit risk attributable to individuals. Assessment of an individual by the BIKSco CreditRisk model allows predicting the probability of occurrence of serious problems (over 90 days in default) in the repayment of credit by the evaluated person within the period of 12 months of the date of calculation of the score. The BIKSco CreditRisk can be obtained by submitting various credit report enquiries into the SI BIK Klient Indywidualny [Individual Client] system. The score may be shared on-line as a supplement to the credit report or off-line for a group of clients who already have the relationships with the Bank/credit union.
BIKSco ProCredit
The BIKSco ProCredit model is the first generation of the score model used to assess the probability of the client's applying for a new credit product. This model has been developed by BIK and is the only score model built on the basis of the data of the Polish credit bureau used to evaluate the clients' propensity for assuming credits. The BIKSco ProCredit model is a statistical model reflecting the clients' propensity for assuming new financial obligations observed on the Polish market.
The BIKSco ProCredit model may be used by the Banks in the assessment of the probability of their clients taking new credits or loans and as an independent tool after the cut off point(s) have been identified.
